1. Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa

The Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa is a secluded, calm couples’ getaway with plenty of lounging areas, much of it with beautiful views of the Indian Ocean. The beach feels like a secluded desert island cove, while the rest of the property is reminiscent of a tropical garden paradise, complete with hammocks and beautiful wicker armchairs, cushioned sofas, and ocean-facing lounge chairs.

The open-air restaurants and foyer have traditional Seychellois peaked timber ceilings. Turquoise accents, upholstery, and mosaic columns in watery colors liven up rich browns and light marble. The infinity pool appears to flow directly into the waves of the ocean.

With breaks for yoga, kayaking, and floating while communing with the resident sea life, the airy, spacious ambiance lends itself to a contemplative stay far from the hustle and bustle of modern city life. Couples are drawn to this decidedly romantic ambiance, and children under the age of 12 are not permitted, preserving the quiet atmosphere.
