Best Hotels at Beau Vallon

Beau Vallon, one of the most iconic Seychelles beaches, is the only place on Mahe Island where you can find everything you need for an island vacation: crystal-clear waters, soft white beach sand, numerous restaurants serving authentic and unique meals, a vibrant nightlife, a wide range of water sports, and amazing hotels offering high-quality lodging and service.

Beau-Vallon is one of Seychelles’ most established tourist destinations. This area is ideal for travelers who want to kick back, unwind, have a good time, and make some wonderful memories to take home with them.

The beach is only a short drive from Victoria, a major tourist destination known for its retail lanes that sell some of the best handmade items.

The sunsets and gorgeous natural views that one can enjoy at Beau Vallon Beach are unrivaled anywhere else on the planet. It’s also one of Seychelles’ longest pieces of stunning shoreline, allowing visitors to see a variety of scenery.

The topography of Beau Vallon gave it its name: “Vallon” means tiny valley and “Beau” means beautiful, therefore Beau-Vallon means Beautiful Valley.

What makes Beau Vallon so Special?

Sunsets that are breathtaking

The longest beach on Mahé is Beau Vallon. Its crescent-shaped bay, which stretches for three kilometers to the northwest, produces breathtaking sunsets, each one unique, with colours of red, orange, and pink reflecting off the crystal blue water. It’s the ideal spot to watch the sunset with a loved one while lounging on the beach.

Families will be safe

Because of its exceptional safety, Beau Vallon is unquestionably the greatest spot for family vacations with children. From the smooth beach sand to a gradual entry into the ocean that is flat and without currents, sharp coral, or sea urchins. Lifeguards are also on duty every day, in addition to the Tourism Police.

Explore the marine life

There are no strong underwater currents, sharp shells, stones, venomous fish, or jellyfish at Beau Vallon, making diving and snorkeling extremely safe. A large number of unusual fish species, such as moray eels, blue-spotted groupers, and white-spotted boxfish, can be found thanks to a large number of corals that have remained unspoiled by humans. The best snorkeling is found in the northern section of the beach, where big granite rocks provide quiet nooks for butterflyfish, angelfish, and a variety of other exotic and unusual species.

There are numerous bars and eateries to choose from

There are 7 different bars and restaurants within walking distance of Beau Vallon that appeal to all tastes: Creole, Indian, and Asian cuisine, as well as local beer and tropical cocktails, are all available.
