Location & Map
On the island of Praslin, Paradise Sun is set on Cote D’Or Beach, one of the nicest in Seychelles. The lengthy stretch of white sand is great for a long walk, and it’s surprisingly calm, with only a few other resorts dispersed along its 2.5 km length. The hotel is sheltered by granite cliffs that protrude into the water and is located at the end of the beach as the bay arcs around.
The airport is 20 minutes away, and the jetty is 15 minutes away if you’re going island hopping. A variety of local eateries and a few shops are only a 5-minute walk away.
The spectacular beach at this affluent resort (with luxury rates) is a draw for both couples on vacation and families with children, and the hotel does an excellent job catering to all groups. Among the various on-site amenities are a stunning outdoor pool with a children’s section, a diving facility, and a tranquil spa with a wide selection of treatments.
The 80 guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large furnished terraces, however, they may use some upgrading (especially the bathrooms). Buffet breakfasts, dinners, and afternoon tea at the beachside restaurant are included in the half-board price. Other perks include free monthly sunset cruises and fitness classes.

Discover Praslin Island
Praslin is Seychelles’ second-largest island, located 40 kilometers east of Mahé. It was named after Gabriel de Choiseul, Duke of Praslin, who conducted an expedition there in 1768. It was discovered by Lazare Picault in 1744. This island’s original charm will delight nature lovers and vacationers seeking peace and quiet since it is known for its magnificent waters and outrageously gorgeous natural features.
A journey to Praslin involves visiting some of the world’s most magnificent beaches. The iconic beach of Anse Lazio, located in the northwest of the island, features white sand scattered with granite rocks on the edge of the blue sea excellent for swimming and snorkeling.
This island, with its picture-perfect beaches, has a lot to offer! Indeed, the beauty of this island will wow you, whether you come for a relaxing beach vacation or to explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
