Activities
The hotel offers deep-sea fishing excursions
In Seychelles, game fishing is a relatively young pastime. The profusion of fish has made the islands popular among both experienced and novice anglers. There are about 280 species of fish that can be caught with a rod and reel, with around 100 of them being listed for record purposes by the International Game Fishing Association.
Fighting species such as blue and striped marlin, sailfish, yellow fish, wahoo, and barracuda can be found in Seychelles’ tropical waters. Live bait is used in addition to strip bait, and an active tag and release strategy is encouraged.
The weather dictates fishing in the Seychelles. From May to September, the trade winds blow from the south-east, and from November to February, they blow from the north-west. Between October and April is the greatest season to go fishing. During these months, the ocean can resemble a huge calm lake, providing ideal conditions for bottom fishing for monster red snapper, grouper, and jobfish. Redmeat fish such as tuna, dorado, and jackfish are caught while trolling.

Location & Map
The Castello Beach Hotel is located on Anse Kerlan, one of Praslin’s longest beaches and perhaps the nicest swimming beach on the island’s western coast. The sand is as fine and white as it is on the rest of the island. Anse Kerlan runs from Amitie, a small settlement, to Pointe Ste. Marie, a granite cliff formation. High waves are protected by an offshore reef, and breakwaters or natural gigantic granit stones typical of Seychelles divide the lengthy beach into pieces.

Conclusion
The four-star Castello Beach Hotel, which is located on the seaside, draws couples and families searching for a relaxing break in a lovely location. The 25 Suites include a lot of space, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and kettles, among other amenities. Family Suites can accommodate up to six persons. Although there is no spa or gym, the hotel offers an outdoor pool, a beautiful beach, massages on request, free breakfast with hot and cold dishes, and a restaurant.
The primary disadvantages are conflicting reviews on the quality of the meals and Wi-Fi. Le Duc de Praslin, which boasts a gym, a spa, and various dining options, is a good alternative for those looking for something a little more upscale
Discover Praslin Island
Praslin is Seychelles’ second-largest island, located 40 kilometers east of Mahé. It was named after Gabriel de Choiseul, Duke of Praslin, who conducted an expedition there in 1768. It was discovered by Lazare Picault in 1744. This island’s original charm will delight nature lovers and vacationers seeking peace and quiet since it is known for its magnificent waters and outrageously gorgeous natural features.
A journey to Praslin involves visiting some of the world’s most magnificent beaches. The iconic beach of Anse Lazio, located in the northwest of the island, features white sand scattered with granite rocks on the edge of the blue sea excellent for swimming and snorkeling.
This island, with its picture-perfect beaches, has a lot to offer! Indeed, the beauty of this island will wow you, whether you come for a relaxing beach vacation or to explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
