Located along the beach of Anse Reunion in the middle of an exotic and peaceful garden of coconut palms and takamaka trees, the La Digue Island Lodge is a charming hotel not to be missed on La Digue. In its category, this is the best hotel on La Digue.
One of the first hotels on the island of La Digue was the La Digue Island Lodge. The hotel complex in the west of La Digue, built in the village style, sits directly on the pristine beach of Anse la Réunion. Enjoy a breathtaking picture of Praslin, a neighboring island in the Indian Ocean.
The hotel is located a few minutes’ walk from the world-famous “Anse de Source d’Argent” dream beach. The well-kept tropical natural garden is complemented by tastefully constructed bungalows.
The hotel impresses with its superb and beautiful cuisine, among other things. The main restaurant, “Marmit,” is situated right on the beach, next to the poolside restaurant. There are also two bars, one of which is located just by the pool.

The beachfront or garden side thatched cottages, a big beach house suite with multiple rooms on the beachfront, and garden mini-suites are all available at La Digue Island Lodge.
Garden Rooms
These well-appointed terrace-type rooms are located behind the Beach House in a tranquil garden setting. They provide simple, efficient lodging with pale floor tiles, whitewashed ceilings, and matching wood furnishings that evoke a typical Creole-style room.
Garden & Seaview Chalets
The detached A-Frame chalets with semi-open bathrooms are built from local takamaka wood and have a distinctive high pitched roof. They are located along the beach and in the serenity of the garden. On the ground floor, they all get an en-suite double bedroom and a small mezzanine balcony with two single beds for older children. Natural oak flooring gives the spaces light and airy vibe.
Beach House Rooms
The Ocean House accommodations are spread out over two stories in a historic Creole Plantation house near the beach.
