Our Expert’s Highlights
Welcome to Fregate Island Private Resort to have a vacation as you’ve never had before. The nearly three-square-kilometer private island in Seychelles is the pinnacle of a sumptuous and paradisiacal island stay.
The 16 spacious villas offer the utmost privacy, tranquility, and comfort for your vacation. Fregate Island, with seven beaches and massive granite cliffs, exemplifies the unique beauty of the Seychelles beaches with their imposing granite cliffs. The butler service and countless possibilities to explore the land and sea will leave you with lasting memories of a once-in-a-lifetime island adventure.
Seven private beaches, spacious houses, and a wonderful natural idyll
A pristine private island is also a model of environmental stewardship and long-term management. Through different animal preservation efforts, the resort has been able to secure and even expand the prevalence of uncommon animal and plant species.
Fregate Island Private, located only 20 minutes by helicopter from Mahé, Seychelles’ major island with the international airport, offers not only pure luxury but also unparalleled natural experiences. There are approximately 2,000 free-ranging giant tortoises on the island, one of which you can adopt. The island is home to over a hundred species of birds, including the Seychelles magpie, which has been saved from extinction.
What we like:

- Seven lovely beaches offer plenty of options for sunbathing.
- Hawksbill turtles may even come ashore to lay eggs in broad daylight.
- Water sports enthusiasts can take use of the resort’s services, which include a dive center, four boats, and surfing and kayaking equipment.
- Approximately 80% of the food served at the Seychelles hotel is farmed organically on the island.

As we land, the blades of the helicopter whip the hot, humid air, and we’re met by cheerful employees who hand us damp cloths scented with lemongrass. Nichol, our personal butler, whisks us away to Villa Pisantez, where the joy of entering is palpable: floor-to-ceiling windows enclose a private infinity pool and, beyond that, the Indian Ocean’s turquoise waters. The resort has undergone a two-year renovation and is now open for business…
