The Mango House Seychelles, which is located on the edge of the bay Anse Soleil in the southern part of Mahé, was originally planned as a family residence for the famous Italian photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri. With two private beaches and a secluded location, the 41 rooms, including nine suites, now provide Hilton guests with sufficient privacy and relaxation.
The main house of the luxury resort was built into the granite rocks of a hill on the mainland, blending in with the natural surroundings. The rest of the buildings and private villas at Mango House also blend in with nature with their natural color schemes and materials. All in all, Mango House Seychelles welcomes you as a true oasis of relaxation, surrounded by the invigorating scent of the surrounding fruit trees of the plantation.
The hotel staff will also be at the guests’ disposal around the clock, with obliging guest service. The water sports center at the beach of the bay invites you to spend your afternoons actively. For example, you can explore the bay by snorkeling or kayaking.

The cozy Muse Restaurant is a reminder of the place’s former owner, Italian photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri. Creole and Mediterranean cuisine is served in a relaxed setting that literally reproduces the ambiance of Barbieri’s work, which the author himself described as “the perfect balance of sophisticated style and lightness.” Furthermore, large meals with the freshest local ingredients can be enjoyed with a whole family or group of friends.
The name of the Japanese restaurant Azido consists of two words – “azi” and “do”, which translate as “taste” and “every time”. Indeed, the menu features freshly caught fish and seafood, sushi and robatayaki prepared in modern Japanese traditions, which can be enjoyed with superb ocean views.
The Moutya BBQ & Grill follows the tradition of Creole cuisine and invites guests to enjoy mouth-watering dishes, grilled with coconut shells, in an informal atmosphere right next to the beach.
The Soley Pool Bar concept was inspired by the movement of the sun across the firmament. Its menu includes refreshing tropical cocktails and bento-style dishes that can be enjoyed from dawn to dusk.
Exotic cocktails, different types of rum, gin, and tonics await guests of the Kokoye Bar, which combines Indian and Seychelles traditions. His menu is based on three types of foods – root vegetables, fruits, and spices.
